New Scientific Contribution on the 2-D Subdomain Technique in Polar Coordinates: Taking into Account of Iron Parts

چکیده
Abstract: This paper presents a new scientific contribution to the two-dimensional red(2-D) subdomain technique in polar coordinates taking into account the finite relative permeability of the ferromagnetic material. The constant relative permeability corresponds to the linear part of the nonlinear B(H) curve. As in the conventional technique, the separation of variables method and the Fourier series are used for the resolution of magnetostatic Maxwell equations in each region. The general solutions of the magnetic field in subdomains, as well as the boundary conditions (BCs) between regions are different from the conventional method. In the proposed method, the magnetic field solution in each subdomain is a superposition of two magnetic quantities in the two directions (i.e., rand Θ-axis), and the BCs between two regions are also in both directions. For example, the scientific contribution has been applied to an airor iron-cored coil supplied by a constant current. The distribution of local quantities (i.e., the magnetic vector potential and flux density) has been validated by a corresponding 2-D finite-element analysis (FEA). The obtained semi-analytical results are in very good agreement with those of the numerical method.

New Scientific Contribution on the 2-D Subdomain Technique in Cartesian Coordinates: Taking into Account of Iron Parts
The most significant assumptions in the subdomain technique (i.e., based on the formal resolution of Maxwell’s equations applied in subdomain) is defined by: “The iron parts (i.e., the teeth and the back-iron) are considered to be infinitely permeable, i.e., μiron → +∞, so that the saturation effect is neglected”. In this paper, the author presents a new scientific contribution on improving of ...

In this research work, an improved two-dimensional semi-analytical subdomain based method for performance computation in IPM machine considering infinite-/finite-magnetic material permeability in pseudo-Cartesian coordinates by using hyperbolic functions has been presented. In the developed technique, all subdomains are divided into periodic or non-periodic regions with homogeneous or non-homog...

Both the cogging and electromagnetic torques depends on the shape of the flux density distribution in the airgap region. A two-dimensional (2-D) analytical method for predicting the open- circuit airgap field distribution in brushless permanent magnet motors, considering the direction of magnetization, i.e., radial or parallel, and the effect of real shape of stator slot-openings is presented i...

In this paper, an adaptive nonlinear controller is designed for rotor Surface Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (SPMSM) drive on the basis of Input-Output Feedback Control (IOFC), and Recursive Least Square (RLS) method. The RLS estimator detects the motor electromechanical parameters, including the motor iron loss resistance online. Moreover, a Sliding-Mode (SM) observer is developed for onli...
متن کاملA New Heuristic Algorithm for Time-cost Trade-off Problem Taking into Account Monetary Value
Time-cost trade-off is one of the most important subjects in project management and of interest to contractors. The goal of time-cost trade-off is sensivity analysis of project costs to changes in activity duration in order to obtain the best combination of activity duration decrease, in a way that the sum of project costs is minimized. In the heuristics presented in this area, time crashing is...
